NYC Tour 2017

The LCC Chamber Choir was accepted to sing in the National Children's Choir Festival in Carnegie Hall under the direction of internationally acclaimed children's choir director, Emily Ellsworth in June 2017.  In addition to the festival performance in the famous Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall, the choir presented concerts in St. Patrick's Cathedral and at the 9/11 Tribute Center as well as performed in our other tour venues of Philadelphia and Columbus, OH. Activities and sightseeing venues included a visit to the Top of the Rock observatory, 9/11 Memorial, the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island, a performance of Aladdin on Broadway, visiting Independence Hall, attending a Philadelphia Phillies game, a guided tour of the battlefields of Gettysburg, a visit to Hersheypark, making candy bars at Chocolate World, and a stop at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium.  The tour took place from June 16 through June 25.
